One of my more whimsical paintings. Once I started painting I discovered my fondness for things that remind me of my childhood. We had this game, like everyone of my generation. I think they came in a few different colors. The little plastic monkeys are an iconic reminder of my youth in the 60's.

Robinson grew up in the midwest and has lived in Arizona with her husband Jeff for more than 25 years. "When we moved to the southwest I was immediately taken with the desert's exotic beauty. Where some see only rocks and dirt, I see majesty. I love the sculptural shapes of the cacti and the way light and shadow plays on their forms."
