I bought this in the greeting card form. I have been purchasing cards from Fine Art America for two or three years. Covid might have been some of the reason for looking for cards on the internet. Shops were closed. The main reason I buy cards from FAA is because I got tired of looking for cards at the usual card shops. I could find cards (sometimes) that looked good on the outside but the verses were terrible or it was the other way around...terrible on the outside but maybe a decent verse inside. I pick cards from FAA that fit with the occasion. I figure I can write something on the inside as good as any card company could. I wouldn't buy these cards if I didn't think they were wonderful. The cards are beautiful and excellent quality and the envelopes are equality as good. I am glad I can make a copy of what I've bought so I can keep track of who gets what card. I don't want to send the same card to someone twice. In this case, the card is going to someone for Mother's Day.

Our Lady of Guadalupe
An ancient title of Mary, given to her shrine on Tepeyac Hill, about three miles northeast of Mexico City, after her appearance there in 1531 to Juan Diego. At that time she asked that a church be built on the spot. For proof of her presence, which Bishop requested, she had Juan pick roses which bloomed miraculously in midwinter. After arranging them in his mantle, she imprinted her portrait on the iside of the coarse cloak, which is still preserved in the Shrine of Guadalupe.

Svitozar Nenyuk is known primarily for his religious paintings depicting angels, saints, and martyrs, and for his portraits. Svitozar was born in the Carpathian Mountains in Ukraine. Soon after his birth, instead of a toy his father gave him a brush. He began painting and has continued doing art ever since. When he was eleven, he enrolled at the Kyiv Republican Art School. There he studied for seven years from 1973 to1980. After that he studied briefly at the Odessa Art School in 1980- 1981. He then moved to Lithuania.
